What the faux?

Barts Faux Fur Delux headband | UB faux fur jacket | Zara satin dress shirt

You may think I look like road kill, but I’m wearing it. So…. keep your thoughts to yourself. Over the winter I fell in like with fur and these adorable fur headbands I kept seeing around town. So when I saw this one from Barts, I snagged it with no hesitation. I have to admit, I didn’t wear it nearly as much as I thought I would. For some reason, things seem to mysteriously look better on you when you’re in store. That, or you suddenly gain superb reasoning skills that allow you to justify any purchase. Anyway, I love the fur headband, but did I really think I would wear it that much??

And this is me, at day. On a good day. Baggy tops, boy friend blazers and accessories galore is one of my favorite looks. I know I promised no more summer wear, but I love summer too much to wait for another year to post these…. and besides, by that time, who knows how I’ll look. ;)

And… what’s your favorite look? I might just steal it.

Yet another summer post…. to remind you of how unlucky we are, and how cold it is now. Or if you’re from down south, to remind you of nothing, because this is what everyday is like anyway. I envy you.

Everything’s moving so quickly… does anyone remember the first half of the year? Feels like I was just celebrating 2010 a moment ago. Which means I need to get hopping, because there isn’t much time left before the year’s over, and I don’t want to feel like I didn’t achieve all that I wanted to…. again. BTW, what did I tell you about working out, staying fit as a resolution? Epic FAIL. This bun is slowly baking dinner rolls and muffin tops for everyone to share.

Entertainment, fashion, music + art.
Hor óeuvres, wine + bubbly. Fabulous looking people.

Note to self: Next time you’re going to a fashion event, give yourself more than 20 minutes to 1. realize you don’t know what the @#$% you’re going to wear 2. frantically rip your closet apart. You’ll be late.

little black dresses

bunnie_bar_Picture-0073

bunnie_bar_Picture-0074

Bedo $40 | Urban Behavior $30 | Urban Planet $1 | Talula $90

for less than $100.

The classic little black dress has become more and more stylish with time and in this ever-changing fashion world, a girl can’t ever have just one. So why do it? We don’t.

Nor do we spend a fortune on our LBDs, as I’m sure you can tell. Don’t get me wrong, I’d kill for a dress by Vivienne Westwood (and then I’d have to kill myself for going bankrupt) but one dress is never enough and I can hardly justify spending thousands of dollars on hundreds of dresses….. just yet.  So till then, there’s nothing I love more than finding fabulous pieces at fabulous prices.

The Bedo bandage dress was a major steal (regular price: $120) and the Urban Planet one sleeve was part of a buy one, get the second for $1 deal (yes, you could say it’s a lame store but how could you resist?).

Anyway, go ahead and laugh. I’m wearing a $1 dress. But I feel like a million bucks. What about you?

bunnie
