The story behind the love story…

My friend came by my desk at work the other day and dropped off a carrot for me. My first thought was Ew. What the hell is this? I took a closer look at it and thought… Wow. This carrot is so dry and old. Sick. I love gifts. I love food. But this (!!!) I will not accept. I wanted to give it back. So I put it in my pocket.  And then I forgot about it. By the time this ugly carrot stick crossed my mind again, it was soft, mushy and deteriorating. So I played with it.
