I’m shopping in Europe. Is that far fetched?

You’re smart. You know all the best boutiques carrying the most unique and sought after pieces. You shop in Los Angeles, then head over to Chicago. New York. And up north to Montreal. It doesn’t stop there. You’re a die hard shopaholic. Munich? Sure. London? Was just there. Florence? Milan? I’m a regular. Paris? Oui, s’il vous plait!

I came across FarFetch.com. Instantly, my eyes widened. Breath froze. Throat closed. And then it happened. My heart started racing and a squeal started forming in my throat. EEEEEE! Grab your Balenciaga, put on your skinny jeans, slip into your Jimmy Choos. and order a Starbucks latte… because we’re going shopping! (Don’t forget your wallet.)

Now that we’re well into fall, I’ve been drawn towards things I can snuggle in. Snuggle in while looking good. I couldn’t help but daydream about frolicking in some fall pieces by Isabel Marant. So French, so chic, so unique. And of course to frolic, one must wear some good looking shoes. So after 2 hours of boutique shopping for designer shoes, I’ve come up with the perfect fall-frolicking outfits. The combinations are endless, and pants for most, are optional.

As I was going through my Polyvore account, I came across this set I created in response to a question from Katy of TwentyFourCarat: What would you wear on a first date?

Below is the outfit I put together 2 years ago. It’s still an outfit I’d wear. Girly and feminine, but not like you’re trying to impress him. Besides, he should be the one trying to impress you.

I’m not sure if I’m okay with the fact that I seem to have the same taste as I did 2 years ago. Fashion and style change so frequently… shouldn’t I have evolved in some amazing way? Or is it okay if your underlying style remains the same?? Am I… boring!? Or am I going to become one of those mothers who wear what they wore back in their youthful days… thinking it’s still okay??

What would you wear on a first date? Would it have been the same 2 years ago?

I have a new appreciation for models. Besides looking pretty and glamorous, they also manage to look like goddesses with every move they make. Must be hard. Sucks to be them.

It also sucks to be a celebrity. Have you seen those nasty shots the paparazzi get?

The moral of the story is: Photoshoots are fun when you’re with your friends, but having them watch you try to pose like the girls you see on Top Model is embarrassing. To the all the girls who have been on Top Model, I’m sorry I laughed at you.
