XXI Loose Tee & Cotton Skirt | Zara Clutch | UB Shoes
Aldo Bangles | Love, Bunnie Necklace
There’s something about gun metal, chains and nude shoes that I can’t get away from, and it’s the mixture of all the above that makes it utterly irresistible.
Addictions and obsessions aside, you might marvel at the fact that there isn’t one thing I’m wearing here that costs over $30.
The bag and shoes come close, but just barely. As for the basic tee, cotton skirt and bangles — $12 and less. And the necklace? It doesn’t count as a purchase if you made it yourself. ;)
Hey, I’m pretty proud of myself. I’m sure my wallet is too.

The stars weren’t lying when they said they like em girls with Beauty Class & Brains.
“Imagine waking up at night and looking at the sky only to realize the sky was empty. There are no stars. It’s a proven fact that these same stars that light up our sky are indeed dead. If death on earth is considered a tragedy; then why does society feel that stars are so meaningful?”

I’m totally loving my new tee, but what I’m loving even more is the story behind the company.
Deadstars Company was established in 2008 by Theo Zachary after losing his foundation, support, and inspiration – his mother. Life took a turn, and after struggling through the hard times, Theo felt it was his duty to “inspire and motivate the people he loves and cares about.”
Anyone that purchases a shirt from Deadstars should know and feel that they’ve “played a major role in helping others achieve their personal goals and dreams.” The company wants to inspire and motivate each and every individual to become a better person in the most positive way.
Now that’s love.

Banana Republic Top | Garage Jeans | Boutique on Main Belt
Unknown Necklace | Ardell False Lashes
Is that bad? I think I ran out of things to blog about! Which I guess is never a good thing. Hence, my extended absence.
So tell me, where do you get your inspiration from?

Last week, the Kitty Card had its official launch party at the Refinery. With nothing but the perfect girl’s night in mind, the night was transformed into a candy wonderland filled with sweet treats, cupcakes, cotton candy, decadent chocolates, savory canapes and of course, cute kitties.

If you’re a girl who loves the glamor and glitz, then Kitty Card events are not to be missed! And of course, you can’t show up to an event like this without some kind of girly and stylish outfit! Anybunny else ever find it extremely difficult to put together an outfit for a special event? I spent a good hour just trying on clothes in my closet.
Below: Joanne from Haus of Luxe, Chin Chin from the Kitty Card, BFF Lenita.

Wilfred Top | XXI Skirt | UB Peep Toes | Love, Bunnie Hairband
Chanel Tote | Urban Outfitters Cuff | Aldo Bangles | UB Shoes | Belt fabric
See you next time?

Bunnies, meet Current/Elliot.

I have a thing for ripped jeans… which makes it no surprise that my closet consists of a few pairs, these being my current favorites. Especially since they’ve had a makeover. These jeans are relaxed and have no stretch in them — gives you that homey feel… hence ‘boyfriend’ jeans. But being the thin jeans they are with rips… those rips slowly turn in to big, big, and bigger holes.
So yes, I gave them a makeover. Okay, the tailor did. But I didn’t know they could do it. I asked them to reinforce the holes to prevent them from ripping further and ta-da! They sewed a patch around the hole and cut out the center so I didn’t end up with a tacky denim patch on my jeans. That plus the vertical sew made the stitching invisible.

Definitely worth it. I’m currently loving my Elliots. Just. Like. New.
XO,

P.S. If you’ve ripped your jeans where they’re not supposed to be ripped { ie. the crotch, the knee, oh I’ve done it all before! } the tailor can fix it as well. I ripped a giant hole in the crotch area before and they patched it up – couldn’t even tell it was ripped! Or alternatively, check out Denim Therapy.
