If you didn’t notice from the first photo, I’m clearly unstoppable. Or so it seems. I’m actually not. I don’t even have anything to say to back that up. But the idiot in me that thought a pose like that would look good. Maybe even powerful. What am I talking about, I am powerful. I look like a power house of a woman standing her ground, arms firmly placed, wind blowing through hair. Right?

Anyways, how’s January been for everyone? Me… I spent a good majority of the month playing Tiny Tower on my iPhone, then Sky Burger (don’t ask) and addicted to NetFlix. Ever since I got an iPad (which I am happily tapping away on right now) I’ve been glued to everything. So in short, I am regressing in 2013… back to let’s say, 2000. Woo hoo.

On another note, I got pulled over by a gigantic cop car (it was really big) earlier this week because I was talking on the phone while driving. Speakerphone. I am a wonderful citizen and rarely do I get pulled over or commit any sort of crime. Mr. Officer explained to me that I was not to be on the phone when driving… and while I pleaded I know!!! I wasn’t texting. Eyes on the road! he explained that I was not to touch, look, think or breathe phone while I was in the car. I’m not sure if I knew that part, but in the end, he told me he was intelligent and understanding and he knew I meant no harm. I informed him that I too, am intelligent, and I will never do it again.

He was THE nicest Mr. Officer I have ever encountered. He was so nice and polite that I actually feel that it is my duty and responsibility to listen to him. So I will. And if you’re thinking, oh please, cops are nice to all girls… you’re wrong. Of the 2 other times I’ve been pulled over (ever) — No nice cop. No sympathy. No warnings. Just 2 rude jerks and 2 tickets.

That’s my month in a glance. Please tell me you’ve been up to something more exciting?

XO,

bunnie

Let me reintroduce myself

Wow. Is this really happening? Am I actually blogging after 3 months of not blogging? Yeah, I am. Do you like it?

It’s funny. I remember a few months earlier, around the 3 year birthday of my bloggy bar, I thought to myself. Holy shit, I’ve been blogging for 3 years. That’s quite an accomplishment isn’t it? I wonder when I’ll stop. If I ever stop. And then I stopped. But in my last post, I also blatantly said that I wouldn’t apologize for my absence again, nor would I promise to try harder. Good thing I didn’t, because I would have definitely disappointed all the readers who no longer read my blog anymore.

I also panicked for a second when I was asked to enter in my password. I thought I forgot, but then I remembered that I was smart and smart people don’t forget. So here I am. Then I actually saw my blog. Oh god, is that what it looks like??

Anyways, I have been wanting to post something for a while now… but I never got around to it. You know, life just happens. But what actually drove me to do it was some “homework” I had for this week from a leadership training session – to do something different everyday for one week. It’s hard, but it can also be rewarding. You should try it. So here’s one of mine. Hope I made you proud.

BTW, if you’re curious about my well-being or just nosy, I may get around to filling you in on what I’ve been up to in the next post. But who knows when that’ll be. Other than that, I just realized that I’m wearing the same shoes in this post as the last. These photos were also from like, 3 months ago. It’s obviously winter now. Obviously.

malicious alley play

I’ve been in the dumps, these past two weeks. Okay, not really, but my blog was infected with malware and has been flagged by Google as “dangerous.” I am NOT dangerous. I am @#$%ing awesome. Google needs to get it straight. But in all seriousness, my blog was unfortunately hacked, causing me all sorts of panic and frustration. But it should be okay now. I’ve requested for Google to review my site so they can finally stop talking shit about me to my now zero visitors. Are you guys still there? Hello?

Well if you are, you’re safe… just clear your cache.

Out of all of this, I have learned a bit about malware. That shit is malicious. Which brings me to the moral of the experience — in the midst of disorder and ugliness always lies something beautiful. Whether it be an experience that builds your character, a realization, or  just plain “useless” knowledge, it’s an opportunity for you to add value to yourself. Which is really what I’d like to do every day, in one minuscule way or another. Even this stinking alley has pretty art and graffiti.

pastels in my reality

I first saw this beautiful mural of Science World on Alicia Fashionista, and then again on RickChung.com. So, being naturally drawn to pretty things, I had to find it. And by find, I really mean find. It’s a shame that such a pretty mural (which I’m sure took a long time to create) is hidden between buildings, on a small street, above a parking lot. What? Exactly.

It’s been a week since I’ve been back in Vancouver and I’m starting to get back into the grind. Back to reality. I started work on Tuesday (at a “new” company) and I get the privilege to work from home from time to time. Which is awesome, yet dangerous. You’d go crazy too if you were cooped up in a pink messy room for 8 hours with no one to talk to.

And within a week of being back, I’ve converted…. to an iPhone! So now I can instagram, face time, skype, and use my horrid Chinese writing skills on poor, unfortunate friends. And no, I don’t miss BBM. In all honesty, it’s like an annoying, unnecessary bother at times. And now that I’ve disappeared, it feels like a burden has been lifted! So If you don’t hear from me, it’s because I don’t want to talk to you. :)

XO,

bunnie

PS. If you’re looking for the mural, you can find it on 45 East 8th Avenue, just off Quebec Street.
