You’ve all recovered from the holidays and it’s time to get down to business. You’ve made some new years resolutions and unlike last year, and the year before, and the year before, you’re going to try really really hard to keep. them. all. And for more than just a couple of months.

Hmmm… sounds like you’re going to need some help.

If you’re like most people, you probably didn’t get around to checking off all the goals on your 2009 list or keeping your resolutions for the duration of the year. Yeah yeah, you’re not the only one… even worse, you’re just like everyone else. Lazy. Boring. Procrastination-Prone. Useless. Sounds like you’re setting yourself up for failure. Aww do you feel sad and depressed now? Wah wah. It’s your fault.

It’s only a week into 2010 and if you haven’t woken the hell up, it’s not too late…. yet. But WTF are you waiting for?? Last time I checked, you aren’t getting any younger and time isn’t passing by any slower. So get off your lazy ass and do something!

Stop letting opportunities pass you by and seriously, stop handing them off to losers who are SO much less deserving than you. Stop making your lame excuses and set some realistic and attainable goals. Better yet, write them down and plaster them on your big forehead. Don’t let your stupid habits from 2009 carry on into the new year. And be determined to do the things you want to do, to achieve the success that you know you’re capable of. It may not be easy, but you’re never going to get anywhere if you aren’t going to try. Weight’s on your shoulders. You ready?

Random finding of the day…

Upon going to the ladies room at the work office, I came across a funny object sitting on top of the toilet paper dispenser.

Oh yeah, you can find tons of things in the women’s washroom: eye liner, blush brushes, tampon wrappers, unused {and sometimes used} pads, hair extensions, oil blotting sheets… but a rubber page flipper? Random.

{Yes, I brought my phone into the washroom with me and yes, I took a picture of it.}

I guess the woman this belongs to had to run to the bathroom really urgently and forgot to take it off. Or maybe she had to to drop the kids {and the rubber page flipper} off at the pool. Or maybe she needed it to help her unravel the toilet paper. Or maybe she dropped it in the toilet and didn’t want to bring it back. Or maybe she was reading in the stall and needed it to help flip the pages. Or maybe… her purpose for it is none of the above. Hmmm….

Either way, I was pretty startled when I saw this sitting to my right. Definitely something new. And not to mention, it was pretty uncomfortable going wee wee with such odd company. Look at it! It just sat there. Quietly. Semi-transparent. Staring at me. Grippy and all like a sea cucumber. With that kind of texture, I bet it’s real good at absorbing all sorts of odors. Gross.

Really? Like, really??

Okay, so we all need a little help when it comes to Christmas shopping and if that’s you right now, then I hate to break it to you honey but you’re not going to get much help here. Wah wah.

Hoping to get some gift ideas, I did a search for Christmas List and I couldn’t help but gawk and giggle at some of the suggestions I found on this site gifts.com. As I looked through some of the featured gifts, I thought, you’ve got to be kidding me.

So here are some that caught my attention.

I know, I know. You can’t read a darn thing in the picture…. so click on it.

Seriously. You gotta love the morning impaired alarm clock on wheels that “runs away” from you so you can’t hit snooze. Or the retro cell phone hand set. Are you really going to lug that around? Or how about the extension stick to help you take your own photo? Okay, I guess that’s kind of cool… but I think I’d look like an idiot carrying that around. But hey, who knows.

However, I must say, the cup is doable. I’m not so sure about getting his initials on it though.

Situated in the British Properties of West Vancouver is the utterly gorgeous and breath-taking Cullen house. Oh yes, I’m talking about stone cold, soft hearted, honey eyed, Bella loving vampire, Edward Cullen.

Apparently, since the property has been on sale, there have been hundreds of little Twihards calling in requesting to sleep in the house for a few nights. Girls pleeeease. Get yo own vampire.

Sigh… I’d love to live in this house. I’d love it even more if somebunny like Edward Cullen loved me, was obsessed with me and thirsted for my blood… and lived in a house like this.

Too bad for me, I have yet to find him. Sooo… anyone have $3.3 million to donate to me?? {Christmas is coming up ;) }
