“Yay!” I’m back. Pout. My trip to the east coast was sexy, hot and sweaty, making it absolutely amazing! Just kidding? But it was amazing. And it was my first domestic flight EVER. Isn’t that cool? No, it’s !@#$ing lame. But it really was. I spent a few days in Montreal and drove down to NYC for a few more. And um, was it ever blazing hot and humid.
With such hot weather and being in stylish city like NYC, it was only appropriate for me to wear my maxi skirt that I’ve been dying to wear…. outside of the house. It really is a pretty skirt isn’t it? So pretty that it got the most likes on Instagram out of all my 130+ pictures. Unfortunately, I bought it from a night market in Taipei so the chances of you getting this exact one are slim. Sucker. I’m sorry. These sheer maxi skirts by Mink Pink and findersKEEPERS are perfect alternatives though!
In case you’re wondering, out of all the beautiful places to take pictures in NYC, I did really do an outfit post in front of a DOOR. You have to agree, it’s a really nice door though. I wasn’t really planning to use this as an outfit post, but I didn’t get a chance to take any nice pictures since I was so busy shopping, eating and sight seeing. (And because my BF is… such a wonderful photographer.) Plus, my crappy point and shoot camera broke. So now, I am cameraless except for my iPhone.
Anyways, trip update to come. I’m considering the 3 hour time difference as extreme jet lag and an excuse to be lazy.

Ooo Asia and now NYC and Montreal?? YOU SUCK!! haha j/k! Seriously though, I’m so jealous of all your travelling! Would you say Taiwan or NYC is hotter right now?

Haha well the down side is, you break the bank when you travel that much! But I did get to spend some time with bf so that’s good. :) NYC was about as hot as it was in TW when I was there in May. So I think it’s probably hotter there now! We should grab a bite or drinks sometime soon!! :)
That is a gorgeous skirt! I wish I could be travelling everywhere right about now, haha.

The opportunity was just perfect for me… when I went to Taiwan! I just left work and was planning a trip so it was great timing. And the other trips I booked already before starting my new job, soooooo you know, I must get that time off! You should definitely plan some time to go away! Best time is when you’re young!

Thanks, Henry! I didn’t mind the heat though because Vancouver is usually cold for me! Even when it’s “hot” here, the shade is really cold and there’s always a breeze!
