I’ve been craving Japanese food in the form of sashimi and rolls for the past week. So yesterday, I went to one of my favorite places for sushi in Vancouver — Shiro. If you’ve never been, it’s delicious. But it gets pretty packed for dinner and you may occasionally find yourself waiting for a table.
All in all, I had a good time. How can you not have a good time with negitoro, spicy scallop, fresh oysters, toro, wild salmon, tako sashimi and some Asahi? Dinner came to an end with the bill and a pack of Pockey for dessert. I grabbed my wallet, took out my credit card and added it to the pile of plastic cards. Going back to attentively listening to the on-going conversation… for about 2 seconds, I got distracted by a striped blue and white cloth on the table beside my hand. WTF is that? My fcking underwear, AGAIN. Yes, my (clean) underwear was there, lying on the table, in a restaurant, exposed to the world.
Obviously, I snatched it up in one quick, dynamic movement that caused one person at the table to look at me with a ?!?! face. And then, I just clenched on to it. Frozen. Slightly mortified. And trying really hard not to laugh.
There seems to be a recurring theme here. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, refer to my Vegas incident. You’re probably wondering why I had underwear in my bag to begin with. I was carrying around a change of clothes with me. Pants, shirt, tank top, socks. And of all those things that I could have grabbed while grabbing my wallet, my underwear decided to be the asshole.
On a closing note, I thought this story was perfect for this super feminine and girly outfit post. Because I’m such a horrific lady.

omg this happens to me all the time! it`s always stuck in a hoodie/pants/something and comes falling out at the worst times! i`ve tried the whole “thats not mine” but i find that its most effective to grab and hide haha.

Oh my gosh, you are gorgeous! This outfit is also lovely <3 When I put clothes in my purse i tend to roll my undies inside my clothes lol it secures things =)

Oh no! Was it the same pair trying to escape again??? It might be time to consider switching to boxers. :) On the bright side, you post beautiful pictures whenever this happens.
You’re not a horrific lady, things happen…and this is just funny. You come across as very lady-like, with a penchant for unusual (funny) situations. By any chance were you just a bit of a tomboy growing up??? I only say that because you’re girly, but not prissy.

No, this time it was a different pair. Must be the water they’re washed in. I couldn’t do boxers though, they’d just be too bunchy in my clothes! Haha! I was a little bit of a tom boy when I was younger. There was one point where I wore baggy khaki pants and tee shirts. I generally get along with guys better though. ;)
Omigosh, that is seriously TOO funny. I would have been totally mortified in the moment but in hindsight it’s a great story. Love your girly outfit and I will have to try Shiro!

hahaha hilarious! Maybe throw in some fabric softener next laundry day so your undies are so staticky and stick to things?
I carry clean underwear in my purse too, and I’m so afraid it’s going to hook on to my wallet or pen when I’m in a public place. The worst though was just tampons flying out of my bag because I have them all at the bottom of my bag. LOL.

Adore that outfit, it’s perfect in every way. F21 skirts are so pretty, I wish they would make some of them a little longer though. They’re a bit too scandalous on me o.O

I’m not going to lie. That skirt IS really short. A bit too short for my liking, but the bow belt is just so cute.

HAHAHAHA! How mortifying! Something similar happened to me –but not at a dinner table. I was walking through one of the lounges at work (with co-workers & clients milling about) when I saw something drop from under me out of the corner of my eye. I kept going, not thinking it was mine, but I did take another glance. No one was claiming it so I walked back to look at it –recognized the pink & white polka dotted t-string & made a mad dash for it before I ran away into my office. I guess during laundry it must have gotten stuck to the sweater I was wearing that day!
BTW, you look so sweet in your photos!
