As I’m lying here on the couch in my most gangster slouch, engulfed in a giant blanket with the Canucks on, my mind is blank. I feel nothing. Actually, I feel pretty tired. And my brain also feels like mashed potatoes. I don’t think mashed potatoes have feelings, nor do they think. So that brings me back to my first point: my mind is blank.
Considering that I’m in the middle of writing a blog post, a blank mind is not ideal. But regardless of how thoughtless my brain is, words are autonomously forming from my fingers and being transposed onto the screen. Wow, this is boring. I’m sorry.
This is one of my favorite outfits so far. It’s casual and it’s comfortable. I’ve always been a big fan of “effortless looks.” The kind where you feel like they just grabbed whatever was on the floor but still manages to look good. (Although in my case, I tried.) Not to mention, my H&M jeggings cost $15, my denim jacket is from highschool, and I’m wearing the most versatile booties I’ve ever bought. It doesn’t get much better than that.

I’ve always been a fan of the effortless look. It shows you what a girl looks like when she’s not trying. Well, I used to think it did. =)
I’m not sure why, but I have the impression that a blank mind is rare for you…that you’re one of those people with a really active brain that’s always pondering one thing or another, looking at things from different perspectives, making observations that others miss, maybe appreciating things that others don’t. I guess I’ve gotten that from your posts.
PS – I am curious if your Russian hat is rabbit. I had one once, but had to return it–it made me sneeze.

You’re right. I’m usually thinking but at the oddest times, when I actually NEED to think, my mind may go blank. And then, blogging becomes hard to do! I have to say, I’m really appreciative of all your comments and your loyal following. :) I love reading what you have to say. As for the Russian hat, it’s just good old faux fur! I hope you returned the bunny hat for more than just because it made you sneeze! ;)
You always look so chic and effortless you gorgeous lady! And I think it’s high time you do a fitness routine or diet routine or something you teeny thing!

Haha thanks, I’m glad I look teeny tiny, but in reality I have puffy areas that are… covered by clothing ;) And honestly, I’m so lazy I haven’t had “time” to work out or… focus on eating healthy! Definitely need to get on that though.

Haha, no, that wasn’t the only reason. I do not wear fur. It was a gift and I thought it was faux. But the sneezing told me I needed to check the label. And thank you, I love reading what you have to say too.
In the interest of full disclosure, I deleted a dumb joke from my comment before I posted it. I wrote, “Wow, you must have had short arms in high school,” (because of the jacket sleeve length). I chuckled once and erased it–sometimes silly works and sometimes it doesn’t. =)
Great look! I’m a huge fan of effortless looks as well as I usually throw together mine first thing in the morning before I’m fully awake.
