Hi! (Was that weird? I never say hi, but I just so excite!) A friend of mine from New York just recently launched her watch line, Winky Designs, and we thought it would be awesome if we collaborated on a photo shoot and of course, a giveaway for TWO watches!
Up until now, I’ve only owned traditional watches. You know, like Michael Kors and Movado. And as much as I love them, they’re really your typical watch in terms of style and material. But Winky is different. Winky is innovative. Winky is fresh. And Bunnie really likes Winky. ;)
So what’s a Winky watch? None other than a piece inspired by delicious foods and flavors, and designed with style and quality in mind. They’re playful, water resistant, made with Japanese quartz and come in a rainbow of fun colors… which is my favorite part! There are two collections right now: Slap Out of It and Ice Cream Bracelets.
These slap watches are seriously the bomb. They’re kinda like slap bracelets, circa 1990. I never thought I’d be able to pull off a red watch, but I’m doing it. And I love the look!
And for those who prefer something more feminine but just as stylish, the braided Ice Cream watches are sweet. Genuine leather and perfect for layering with other bracelets.

These are so cute. I love the mint choco chip watch the best because the name reminds me of one of my favourite summer treats (yum!) and I’m envisioning stacking it with numerous bracelets just like you’d stack scoops of ice cream.

Love the Mint Choco Chip watch because it’s a fat free way of enjoying mint and chocolate (unlike the ice-cream, chocolates or cookies that just makes my butt fat).

I’d love the Mint Choco Chip Bracelet. The name itself … OMG … is making me want my favorite ice cram … Mint chocolate chip!!! It’s so my favorite that one year for my birthday, my an ice cream cake. Chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip and because I’m his princess … Disney princesses on top!!! I know you’re thinking sweet and corny but that cake was delicious! The Mint Choco Chip watch looks good enough to eat! I love how the different bracelets and colours make it look like an ice cream sandwich (probably what led to the name) :) I also like how Winky offers watches in non-traditional ways – in friendship bracelet styles and a slap bracelet style. Winky is such a cute brand – “it’s not just a watch, it’s an attitude!”

I love the Mint Choco Chip Winky watch because the name symbolizes a combination of it’s COOL and SWEET simplistic style. The leather braid strap just like the name of the watch, is remnant of childhood memories when you used to make friendship bracelets for someone. It seems like a lot of iconic thoughts were put into this design and it brings me back to being a kid in the summer time eating my favorite ice cream flavor (how ironic is that?). This design proves that even a simple concept like Mint Choco Chip, braided straps can not only look chic and stylish and compliment whatever you wear but also conjure up emotions and reminiscence of a good and innocent time in your life which is ultimately…pun intended sorry, haha..timeless.

The Mint Choco Chip watch – Can be eaten or worn at the same time, who can beat that? Aside from the fact that I love Mint Choco Chip ice cream, the colors of green + brown also reminds me of the leaves and trees in the spring… Super fresh and these complimentary colors can def spike up any outfits! I also love how it looks effortlessly chic! It can look very feminine, boho chic and very casual – super versatile! For the lazy me, I feel that on my lazy days, it can be slap on as an accessory on it’s own. For my girly-er days, where I feel like playing dress up, I can def layer it with other accessories to bring up a total diff look! Definitely love at first sight.

I had a simular, lower quality version of the red slap watch when i was younger, it would be awesome to win it.
Red Slap Watch – I remember playing with one of these slap watches when I was a kid! I recently saw a slap watch shown on a variety show and it totally reminded me how much I used to love to play with these watches! It’s a coincidence to learn about the Winky Design Slap Watches from reading your blog! My watch stopped a couple months ago and I find it very inconvenient to always pull out my cell phone to check the time since I’m so used to using my watch. It’d be great to have the slap watch to replace my old one! I love the red that this watch has as it is very vibrant and it would look awesome with my red toms! Although I love all the colours of the slap watch, it would be nice to start off by owning the red!

I like the mint chocolate watch because I actually hate mint chocolate. Can’t stand the taste. It’s like eating toothpaste—with chocolate. So this watch would be the only mint chocolate I could ever love. NOW ISN”T THAT SPECIAL.
The red slap watch… well I don’t really know why it’s called a “slap watch” but I guess it could be because the design is os bold that it slaps you in the face. And slaps like that usually leave red marks. Is that it? I think that’s it.

Not only is Mint Choco Chip my favourite ice cream, but given the chance to rock this watch would also become a favourite pass-time of mine :) With 2012 just starting & a resolution to eat healthier & be early to every appointment what goes better hand in hand than a Mint Choco Chip Ice Cream Bracelet to drool over, instead of ingesting those extra calories, while keeping the time! Doesn’t get any better than that.
What’s not to love about the Apple Red Slap Band Watch… It’s that extra BAM to any outfit, and love of time worn on your wrist like a heart on a sleeve. I also love it because it matches my baby-girl due any moment now :) What better way to keep on time & count those contractions, lol ;)
