Happy new year everybunny! I’m a day late, but I have a good excuse. I was practically bed-ridden on new year’s day due to a lot of awesomeness the night before. I woke up around 12:30pm and freaked out that… it was 12:30pm. One thing about me is that I hate waking up late because it makes me feel like I’ve wasted the entire day. So with that being said, I…. somehow ended up getting up at 5:30pm. A real lazy Sunday to start off the new year.
However, with laziness comes time to reflect and that’s exactly what I needed. When I think of the year that just passed, it feels like just that — another year passed. But think harder and memories and lessons start to unfold. And although I can’t say that this year is the best yet — every age, every stage in life has different experiences that stand out, different events that are important, different requirements to grow — 2011 has been one of the most diverse and influential in making me, hopefully, a better Bunnie.
One thing I am a bit disappointed in is that I didn’t meet all the goals I made. Not only that, I forgot I made them. So once I settle on my resolutions and goals for this year, I’m keeping them visible. After all, you’re supposed to revisit them every now and then to see how you’re doing aren’t you?
So aside from the typical resolutions that are really on everyone’s list — go to the gym, save money, what else do you have? Share them with me. Could be that your resolutions are things I need to do, need to improve on, or things I’ve never even considered. So I need to know. Here’s two for you 1) read one book a month 2) use your phone less. I read this post I wrote 2 years ago. It’s like I just slapped myself in the face. Maybe you need a good slapping too.
Anyways, happy new year to all of you! Wishing you the best in love, happiness and success – whatever you strive for in 2012. Thanks for reading, as always. ♥
XO,

PS – Today’s also my BFF @chinsquared‘s birthday. HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Love you lots. xo

I forgot my resolutions from last year also. I’m making a poster board with all of this year’s resolutions and I’m putting up on my dorm room wall so I have no choice but to look at it! Reading a book a month is a great resolution! Some of my resolutions include: getting and balancing a job with classes, a boyfriend, social life, and losing weight, attending summer term at my university, and just being happy. :)

Well, that makes two of us. I guess we’ll both be making a poster board this year with some good stuff on it! Can’t say I’m not excited. Great resolutions for yourself. Good luck ;)
Happy new year! Your dress is gorgeous. Don’t be so hard on yourself, I’m sure you did wonderful in the goals you DID meet last year.

Adore your party hair!
I’m not really one for resolutions but I guess you can say I have something that I strive for EVERY DAY –be a better person. Pretty vague but I think it’s a good one that encompasses a lot.
Happy new year BTW!

Argh, just like you I totally forgot all my resolutions, but hey the past is in the past right and it’s all good so long as we learn and try harder this year? haha I haven’t thought too much about my resolutions, but now that I’m thinking about it, a post would be a good idea since that will make it public and therefore, somewhat more accountable.
my resolutions have changed over time. last time was all about study hard and all, but now it’s fashion, play and work hard! and yeah i’ll take your advice to make them visible! :)
p/s: you look gorgeous! but it’s not something i would wear cos my boobs are non-existent.

Thanks love! It’s funny you say that, because my bunnie bumps are actually non-existent either. The dress slipped here and there. Had to be careful and hold my breath!
I don’t often make resolutions. But after spending too much time behind my desk during 2011, I need at least two: improve work/life balance; and work on rebuilding endurance–I now have the stamina of a baby and want to nap all the time. =)
Another one is to continue to be vigilant about who I have in my life, whether it’s a friend, a work friend or a blog friend. I try to not waste time with negative people; or people who feel the need to belittle others; or who try to make themselves look good by trying to make others look bad (or feel bad about themselves); or people who take, but don’t give.

I like your resolution about the people in your life. Making that one of mine too. Why waste time on unimportant people who don’t waste time on you? Or rather, people who are just downers to be around? High five on that one.
Happy New Year to the Bunnie Bar!!

wishing my BFF the bestest year ever! xo
I don’t have any “resolutions” but the same as last year for 2012: work hard and play harder.
