Liberty Love loose tee | Marciano lace leggings | Aldo shoes, bangles, rings
Bang-On bunny ring | H&M turquoise ring | Michael Kors watch
Love Bunnie headband

This is me, wearing one of my favorite tops I bought while on my trip in Long Beach. Fact: I wear new clothes like I own nothing else. So obviously, I had to wash the shirt. Because obviously, I’m not that dirty. And so it washed. And dried. AND SHRUNK TO A SHORT CROP TOP WITH MANGLED SLEEVES.

So, that’s the end of it. You’ll see one more outfit post with this top. And nothing else. Maybe I’ll try to wear the disproportionate ”crop top.” Maybe I won’t. I don’t know how. And I don’t even want to look at it. Pout.

Anyone have any tips on what they do with shirts that have shrunk??

XO,

bunnie

I’m afraid our answer to shrunken clothes has been to find smaller versions of ourselves to pass them down to.

you look gorgeous in these photos:) sorry to hear about your shirt shrinkage dilemma girl. i agree with the above rick and give it to a child in need. or in your case since you’re a lucky tiny girl, give it to an infant. haha

I hate it when that happens and never know what to do. They usually just get worn at home or donated. :(

On the bright side, you look cute! :)

I’ve stretched out shirts by washing them cold, then after the spin dry, stretching them over my computer/office chair (which I cleaned beforehand). If you’re willing to put in the work, do it art-school style: wash cold, and nail it to a wooden board with dress-maker pins.
