There’s bling somewhere underneath that mess
You’ve all seen jewelry boxes over-flowing with necklaces, rings, strings of pearls, bracelets… the goods. Sure, it looks great for display purposes, but who actually keeps their jewelry like that??
Me. Oh yeah, I’m all over it. Mountains of jewelry on top of jewelry on counter tops, oozing out of boxes and sprawled out like you do when you pass out from too much drinking. You get the idea…
Hey, I never said it was…. presentable. This is my version of it.. which results from an over-load of accessories, continued purchases adding to the pile, absolutely no idea how to organize it…. and pure laziness. I don’t really want to go through this mess of tangles. Would you?
However, trying to find that one thing you’re looking for. Impossible. The matching earring of the pair? Impossible. How about remembering what you have? Barely possible.
So goodness help me. In what state is your jewelry? And how the hell do you organize it?
Please, enlighten me.

I keep my costume earrings in smaller ziplock baggies! Necklaces and bracelets I organize them by material. Silver in one box, pearly stuff in another, gold in another.. Hope that helps! Its another excuse to buy nice jewelry boxes!
Mine is not. I bet I’m in worst shape than you. My Mom got a me a beautiful free standing jewelry chest two years ago and I’ve yet to use it. Pitiful!
I had bling all over the place too until I got my very first jewelry box last year…lol.

I use a couple different methods to keep my jewelry organized. I used a large jewelry box for most of my earrings and bracelets.
Then I hang all of my necklaces from necklace stands. I’m a fan of the trees myself.
Urban Outfitters has some cute ones.

Wowsers that is a lot of jewelry girl! Umm, I bought plastic holders that you can use in a kitchen and put them in my dresser. I put different jewelry in different sections and wala! You are organized. You will have to show us what you decide to do!
There’s a tall jewelry dresser thing at Ikea. It has tons of drawers. I think it’d be perfect for all your jewels!

I used drawer box to keep my jewelry organized.
i use those thumb tack things andd stick it to my wall and that how i hang my necklaces!! for my earrings, i have a earring holder and for the small earrings like studs, i just keep them in a small tin thingy :)

I have those craft boxes with individual pigeon holes for each item ^^ I think it’s pretty good, just need space to put the boxes T_T
I think those boxes for your silverwear is good for jewelry. Wow! You have a lot of stuff to decorate with – how fun!

Awesome idea stolen from a friend: she keeps all her jewlery in tiny individual ziplock bags… keeps the necklaces tangle free…
