The Oscars: Favorite Picks!
The 82nd Annual Academy Awards…
Hmmm… Red Carpet. Glamor. Kodak Theatre. LA. Hollywood. Celebrities. Paparazzi. Did I miss anything? Oh right. And critiquing begins… Some of my favorites for the Oscars this year (and they’re all strapless).

LOVE soft-toned, flowy dresses. I also love tiered layers and ruffles when they’re not tacky. I fantasize about being tall… and famous… and attending extravagant events to float along the red carpet in one of these stunning pieces. Oh I guess I’d have to be wealthy too or I’d end up showing up in rags. But hey. I’d get my 15 minutes of fame right? { For Hollywood’s worst dressed! }
I actually really like Miley Cyrus’ dress. I’m not usually into corset tops. { Actually I hate them. But it’s a typical style in Vancouver. Well, for a certain type of girl, anyway. Walk into Bebe or Marciano and you’ll see. Heck, go into the right club and you’ll see it everywhere. Courtesy of Bebe and Marciano. Thanks… I guess? }My feelings arise probably because I never see corsets worn right. It either looks tacky, skanky, or too revealing. However, the Jenny Packham dress on Miley Cyrus looks elegant. I think she totally pulled it off… yes, even though she is young.
My favorite dress of the night? Demi Moore’s Versace.Stunning. I absolutely love it. Give it to me!!

Love Rachel McAdams, but out of your picks I would say Anna Kendrick and Cameron Diaz did it best, although I’m not as huge a fan of Cameron’s red lip. I also really liked Maggie Gyllenhaal’s dress, although it was rather different.
I really like Miley’s Dress and look as well, she actually looks very romantic glam! I really like Jennifer Lopez’s dress. At fist I thought it was sorta weird and fugly but it’s actually very avante garde after doing a triple take on it :)

My fav has got to be Rachel McAdams! She looks fantastic!!!
I love the silhouette of Rachel McAdam’s dress.. it looks like a water color painting! She’s gorgeous. Cameron’s dress was also lovely but I wasn’t a fan of her hair. Miley Cyrus’ dress was probably my favorite, but everyone criticized her for her poor posture and slouch. And meh it’s Miley Cyrus. She doesn’t belong on the Oscars red carpet in my opinion. EVER.

I was drooling over all the dresses last night.
I LOVED Rachel Mcadams dress.
It stood out to me because it reminded me of a beautiful watercolour painting.

There were so many that I liked. It’s hard to choose. I, too, liked Miley’s dress. Cameron’s was gorgeous as well. I’d love to wear Demi’s dress. All soo pretty.

I adore them all! I love soft, flowing dresses like these ones. I would love to own one. I think my fave would actually be Anna Kendrick in Eli Saab. I just adore the style and colour.
I don’t watch the Oscars and all those big award shows. I’m interested, I just never realize that they happened until the day after when I read and hear about what fashion was worn. The dresses you picked are gorgeous! I love strapless’ too and would probably want to wear one to the Oscars (you know, in my fantasy life when I’m invited to such an event =P ) too, except I have a hard time pulling off the strapless dress. Not flattering on me, but very much so on those celebs. :) Nice choices.
Demi was my pick too and totes inspired my post on Monday. That gown was beyond gorgeous!
