Los Angeles is in dire need of a Bunnie

In just T-6 days, C & I are going to be heading down to

Los Angeles

Okay, so I’ve never been there before {except to Disneyland when I was 9… which doesn’t count} so I’m SUPER excited! We’ll be leaving on Nov.13 and staying for only 4 days and 3 nights. Wish we could have made the trip longer, but unfortunately, in order to afford to go on a trip {and shop… and pay for the massive bill that will result from it}, we need to go back to something called WORK. Wah wah!

Since we have absolutely NO idea where to go or what to do, we did a bit of research and found some places we’d like to visit – Hollywood, Melrose, Rodeo Drive, Universal Studios… umm and then it stops there.

Okay I lied. We know exactly what we want to do. We’re going to eat until our tummies explode into Bunnie bits and shop until we’re so broke we can’t afford to come back home or buy another meal. Wow I think I just killed myself. :)

{ C & I in Vegas; July 09 }

Anyways… I’m sure there are some LA must sees and hot-spots that we don’t know about. So, I need your help.

We want to go shopping, eat at yummy restaurants and explore the city – all within 4 days. Not much time, I know. {We don’t even have time for DisneyLand!} I know some of you have been to LA and others of you live there.. *wink.

Recommendations for Bunnie, anybunny?

Greatly appreciated. Loves you :)

XO,

I don’t know much about LA since I haven’t been there in years. Love your dress in the photo! You look hot xx

  2. Juel Says:

Hi Bunnie! I love reading your blog. It’s so funny and you’re adorable! I’m from LA so maybe I can give you some places to visit :D What area will you be staying in? Good shopping places are: The Americana, The Grove, Third Street Promenade, and South Coast Plaza (but that’s in Orange County) There’s a LOT of good food in LA just depends on what kinda food you’re looking for and your budget. I hope this helps!

  3. triston Says:

Hi Bunny! Have a good time in L.A. I agree with Juel that Third Street Promenade is a lot of fun and it’s close to the beach too :O) The weather will be nice so you’ll HAVE TO pack lots of cute outfits.

  4. Jenn Says:

Nooooo Disneyland!!! I haven’t been to California since April ‘08 but I miss it every day. I’d actually choose Disneyland over Universal Studios because there wasn’t much to do other than do the tram ride tour and a few rides. We finished Universal in half a day (whereas we had a 5-day pass for Disneyland and we were still wanting more) There is an open-air mall near Disneyland called the Block at Orange which isn’t too bad for shopping if you’re in the area. HAVE FUN and enjoy the sun!

  5. Shop N' Chomp Says:

Where are you two staying, sweets? And I assume you are renting a car? (Highly rec this)

  6. Ligia Says:

Ohhh…how exciting! Have fun babe! xOx

  7. Keith Says:

Hey there. Nice post. Have fun. Happy Sunday. Hope you’ve been enjoying the weekend. Take care. Have a great week ahead. Cheers!

have fun in LA, i really want to go tooo ):
and with growing out your hair, i hope you’re keeping up constant trims. like if cut an inch every month, it really helps to keep your hair healthy and growing faster. no lies, i thought people were lying to me before, but when i stopped with the trims my hair started growing so much slower lol

  9. allison Says:

I haven’t been there in over 10 years, so I’m the wrong person to ask! Sierra could probably help from Ocean Dreams..

  10. Kym Says:

ahhh, i love cali. i used to live there for 9 months and in terms of places to eat at… i can only suggest the ones that will cause heart attacks – in&out (of course), chick-fil-a for breakfast (chicken biscuits with honey, do it!), L&L hawaiian bbq (the name should be explanation enough)…please eat lots for me. please.

  11. Jess Says:

I just sort of stumbled on your blog…pretty cool! Some cool food places in LA are Taste on Melrose (brunch is best, but the kobe burger is awesome too) (Melrose Ave), Griddle Cafe if you love giant delicious pancakes(Fairfax and Sunset), and awesome burgers at 25 Degrees at the Roosevelt Hotel (Hollywood Blvd). For shopping, there’s the Beverly Center, Robertson Blvd, and Abbott Kinney in Venice for some local boutique shopping…aside from ones that are given.

Also, if you want to do the fast food tour of LA, there’s Pinkberry, Pink’s Hot Dogs, Tito’s Tacos, Phillipe’s French Dip, In & Out/Fatburger, and the Kogi trucks.(Korean style Mexican food like kimchi burritos).

    Have fun in LA! =)

  13. Kristin Says:

I don’t think LA knows what it’s in for! Can’t wait to see the lookbooks! I haven’t been since I was 16. It may be time for another trip, especially since my Lizzy lives there!

  14. Gracie Says:

Well since I’ve never been to the US at all I would have no idea lol. I can’t wait to read about your adventures though. I’m sure they will be fantastic and memorable to read. Love that dress. You look gorgeous in that dress.

  15. Kym Says:

tubby shmubby! the more to love, the better, bunnnie! ;P

and yes – arts & crafts get together!!!! lets do it… do it.. doit doitdoit… what song is that?

  16. Katy Says:

Ahh I wanna go back to Cali this winter too! I spent the last two Christmas’es there.. funfunfun! YOU HAVE TO EAT IN-N-OUT BURGERS AND CARNE ASADA FRIES!! Omg… bring some home for me!!! Lol jk. =P

Desert Hills Premium Outlets for cheap shopping.

Be sure to bring a GPS to navigate/detour through traffic jams because you’ll encounter LOTS.

I know you’re going now, but if you go again in the future, Disneyland is always fun on Christmas Day.

  17. Sierra Says:

If you like to shop you should totally go to Melrose Street…so much fun! Other than that you are covering all of the main areas, are you going to make it to the beach? Let me know if you are. Laguna Beach is my favorite beach, so pretty. Huntington Beach is also lovely. Have so much fun and Disneyland is the best, you will love it!

  18. Shop N' Chomp Says:

    Yes, I’m back in L.A!

Weather’s still warm during the day (70’s-80) but cooler now at night so you’ll want to bring a jacket. Since you’ve decided not to rent a car, I do want you to know that we don’t have a whole lot of taxis here and the public transportation system sucks.

Shopping: Third Street Promenade (closest to your hotel), The Grove, Melrose, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Center
Attractions: Santa Monica Pier, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm, Griffith Observatory, The Getty
Eating: In-N-Out, Tommy’s, Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Pinkberry, Pizzeria Mozza
Clubs: Any one you see in the Hills

    HAVE FUN!!! :D

  19. fashionista Says:

ahhh…you look sooo gorgeous in that pink dress!!!

  20. cindee Says:

check out the beaches! they are all so diff. head down to the OC… you’ve got a ton of beaches there. Check out Santa Monica. That’s my fave place ever! The promenade is so lively and a must see esp during the wknd. check out The Grove and also the farmer’s market which is by the grove… then you’ve got beverly center(shopping) that’s about 5 mins away.

  21. toothfairynotes Says:

Have fun bunnie bunnie! I’ve been there a few times, but stayed with family, and they didn’t had so much time to show us all the places :S
