Ballerina Bunnie

Ballet. I did it for 10 years and then quit when I realized that I wasn’t exactly made for it. Everyone was tall & slender while I was {and still am} short & stubby. Plus, continuing in ballet would only mean that it would get more competitive and serious — something I could definitely NOT see myself doing, career wise. With my figure, I’d probably get cast as Oompa Loompa… doompadee doo. Who wants to come watch?

The girly part of me still loves the soft elegance and femininity that is all ballerina. I LOVE this tulle skirt. It’s so sweet. So girly. So tutu. However, me going to a night club looking like a pretty ballerina is probably not the best idea… Not the time or place to look 16. Yes, s i x t e e n. Hence the tulle skirt worn with the black, the chains, the leather… and offset with pearls to keep it oh so feminine. {Black. Chains. Leather. Hmmm… what a nice combo.}

Slither my way, I’ll take good care of you

WEEEEE!

Ahem. I mean, oh how I love Fridays. Especially this Friday because I took the day off from work. My weekend has officially started. Next comes Saturday. And then it’s Sunday. And then it’s Monday — Thanksgiving holiday. And then it’s Tuesday. I took it off too. And then… it’s back to work on Wednesday. Followed by 1 more day, and hey look! It’s Friday again. Jealous yet? I don’t blame you.

But.. I deserve it. Being over-worked has totally taken a toll on my bunniness. BUNNIE-NESS. It’s a word.

What better way to start off the weekend than by admiring these HOT snake skin stilettos by day, and then strutting them down the street by night?

I have a thing for this style of shoe. They kind of look like the Marciano Reiko Ankle-Wraps I posted previously. Ahh well. A girl can’t have too many pairs!

happy friday bunnies!

My love for you is concealed

….under my new concealer. What did you think I was talking about?

Boys? Please, all I need is M·A·C.

I’m all for their concealers. Actually, I can’t remember using any other kind.

Their newest edition: Studio Sculpt Concealer.

Here’s what MAC has to say…

“A creamy concealer that provides full coverage with a natural matte finish. Brushes on with enough blend time to conceal any size of blemish. Rich formulation allows you to use a micro-amount of product to even out skin. Water-resistant and long-wearing.

Couldn’t have said it better myself… {because I suck at writing}. Take a look for yourself. It’s super creamy with full coverage — doesn’t feel as thick and heavy as the Studio Finish SPF 35 which is what I was using before. It’s perfect if you want a more natural, smooth finish without the pound cake on yo face! {I have dry skin, heavy concealers tend to form crusties on me. Yum.}

So girlies, for now it’s just me and my boyfriend, MAC.

However, when the pot runs dry, I’ll want a new one because honestly, I get bored easily.

So tell me, what’s concealing you? After all, sharing is caring and I KNOW you care.

I’ve got my Humanity wrapped around me

I picked up a Humanity wrap-around bracelet the other day which I absolutely love. I’ve been looking for something like this for some time! It’s made of genuine leather and has silver foil verbiages imprinted along it. Cuute!

Humanity is a company that has been working with non-profit organizations to raise awareness of specific needs and causes through fashion. Making a difference and fashion. Two things I love!

This one comes in 10 different colors.

I tried to contain my laughter the first time I watched this. It’s intensely effing hilarious! Okay, maybe not to you because you have no idea who the hell you’re watching. Honestly, it doesn’t matter. All you need to know is that I’m too sexy for my body!

Try it out – all you need are some funny photos and an awesome sense of humour.

Oh, and don’t forget to SHARE. Happy Friday!

Stop and smell my finger, I’ve got flower power

Picton-Silver

It’s been an extremely long time since I’ve bought any jewelry. Especially anything that would be remotely considered, “high-impact.” I feel guilty when I buy because I have a mountain of jewelry collecting dust on my dresser. I worked at Aldo Accessories and with our staff discount {yes, on SHOES too} all the money I made {and more} went right back to the company. DAMN them!

After getting all my goodies for cheaper than the rest of you {huk huk huk} it just didn’t feel right buying accessories at full price anymore so after I quit, I also quit buying {trust me, it was very difficult}…

However, I couldn’t resist when I saw this Picton ring from Aldo. There’s something about it that I love. Maybe it’s the intricate detailing of it, the matte finish, the flower embedded crystals, and the unique band, all together with a touch of femininity!

So… I got myself the silver one!
