And it’s back to work or better yet, reality.

All work and no play is… well, no fun.
Who here likes to work all day, everyday? You answer MEE!! to that question and I’m going to force you to play with me until you love it like a fat kid loves cake.
After 5 days of absolute nothingness, I’m back at work. Why is it that ‘vacations’ always seem to end so soon? I remember when I was just a little bean, going to school everyday. Getting 3-4 months to frolic in the sun every year was so normal. Now that I’ve been prematurely tossed into the “real-world,” I’m really thankful that I had that time to indulge in doing nothing…
when doing nothing was absolutely, okay.

Speaking of thankfulness, it was Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend! Gobble! Gobble! Hope everyone stuffed their tummies with turkey and gravy! { I know I did. Who wouldn’t love a chubby wubby bunnie? } Over the last year, a lot has happened which I am very, very grateful for. Here are just a few for sharing :)
Experiences. How completely true is it that experiences help shape who you are? Making the transition from full-time schooling to full-time work, for one, has really been a stepping stone into what “real-life” is all about. Not only have I learned so much about myself, but I have learned so much about everything, especially from of few GREAT people that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I’ve been heartbroken, been forced out of my comfort zone, and as a result, have become so much more independent. I’ve been introduced to new adventures, have said yes to everything thrown my way, and as a result, have gained so much more value in life. I’m thriving off life and experience.
{ BFFs }
Friends. I’ve been blessed with the best group of friends a Bunnie could ever ask for. Friends who make me laugh till my tummy hurts. Friends who stay by me whether I’m being silly or just plain boring. Friends who wipe my nose boogies and tell me when there’s food on my face. Friends who turn my pouts into smiles. And friends who believe in me. Now that’s love.
Opportunity. It’s out there. Lots of it. You just have to find it. I didn’t believe it before but I see it now and it’s amazing. Without the loves of my life tipping me over the edge, the mile I’ve hopped would only be a measly inch.
And of course… I’m completely grateful that I can share my thoughts, loves, and um, purchases with you. Yes. I. Am. As corny as it sounds. {Mmm! I love corn, except it doesn’t digest very well… heh} Who would have thought that all of this would be so fun? I absolutely love reading all of your blogs and your sweet comments! There’s just so much to be thankful for…
So, take a moment to stop & appreciate everything around you. :)

That brings me to the last thing for me to be thankful for. My first (yay!) bloggie award from Keith! For some classic eye-candy, make sure you check out his blog: Sugar & Spice. Thanks, Keith. This made me happy. :)
I’m. done. rambling. Finally.
XOXO,

my favorite post of yours yet ;) good job bunnie, you’ve come a long way since your first post haha! cept now it’s taken over your life (*ring ring “whatcha doin?” “BLOGGING!” “but it’s saturday night?!”)
The opportunities and experiences you’ve had coming into the ‘real world’ are only the beginning and it only gets more and more daunting or as fun as you make it. Life is simple and it’s also hard at the same time, but the paper thin difference between the two is attitude and your view of things and it seems you have a great outlook on everything. The people you are with makes a giant-bean sized difference because their attitude will eventually wear off on you and yours on them, so surround yourself with positive people who are always looking for growth and new adventures themselves. Exploring is fun Dora! Great post
Love your blog. =) Its great to have friends who care for you ~ x
ahh…congratulation on your blog award!!! You and your gfs look so lovely!!!
Glad you enjoyed your mini holiday, so sorry you have to go back to work! I know the feeling, it sucks. Great post! And I agree, working sucks… I’m back on tomorrow after a couple of days off and I’m not looking forward! :(
Aww lovely post! I think this is a good reminder to take a minute to pause and appreciate everything around me. Thanks for that! We are all so blessed.
Holidays always go so fast! I wish they wouldn’t! Love the beautiful picture of your girls! And congrats on the award!
So your happy days are finally over. Aww that sucks. Why do we have to work?!!!
I love the things you’re grateful for. You obviously are a nice and appreciative person. And if by “heartbroken” you mean in the love life department, well you are a very attractive girl, you can get all the goodlooking men you want. Screw whoever that boy is! Karma’s a bitch!
Congrats on the award. I’m sure you’ll be getting more! :)
it’s my friday today!!! woohooo!!! okay don’t get mad at me for rubbing that in your face. hahaha! ;P and bunnie, i didn’t get to have my turkey & gravy this year :( i was on the plane flying back from california…and instead stopped over at a japanese restaurant for chicken teriyaki and gyoza. haha! but i did take a moment to stop and think about all that i’m thankful for, and it was a lot :)
What an awesome post! I love what you said about experiences. I think we all need those times in our lives where we have to step up and experience different things. That’s what really helps us grow as individuals!
You’re so beautiful! I love hearing from you.
Hey there. Great post. That’s so awesome that you’ve got so much to be thankful for. I think most of us do whether we really think about it or not. It’s good to be grateful for all the blessings in our lives. You are very welcome about the blog award. I really like your blog. It’s cool. It was my pleasure to give you this award. Sorry you had to go back to work. I always hate going back after being off for holidays, etc. I wish I was independently wealthy and didn’t have to work at all. Enjoy your Friday and weekend. Cheers!
